Join us for a relaxed morning exploring the ponds, Oak Creek, and surrounding fields, where riparian birds are easy to spot. Keep an eye out for Abert’s Towhee, Common Black Hawk, Osprey, Wood Ducks, and other birds that make the Verde Valley their home.

Meeting Point: Bubbling Ponds parking lot at 7:30 AM.
Directions: Bubbling Ponds is located approximately 2.3 miles down Page Springs Road from Highway 89A.
What to Bring: Water, snacks, binoculars, camera, scope, sturdy shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing.
About the Location: This mix of ponds, creekside, and agricultural habitat attracts a variety of birds throughout the year. Expect Abert’s Towhee, Common Black Hawk, Osprey, Black Phoebe, Wood Ducks, possible shorebirds, and more.
